High Winds Predicted.
The UK Met Office is advising of a significant storm risk as we move into Sunday night and Monday morning.
"Currently the storm is most likely to impact the southern half of the UK, with the potential for gusts of more than 80mph - especially on exposed coasts in the south.
Winds of this strength could bring down trees or cause structural damage, potentially causing transport disruption or power cuts."
Their is a chance however that the storm may not materialise at all, or may talk an alternative course missing the UK main land altogether.
As a precaution we are advising clients to shut down and turn off any equipment that is not needed over this weekend. Server and other items connected to Uninterruptible Power Supplies (Do I really need a UPS?
) will protect again power surges and outages and will automatically shut down any connected equipment should the outage last more than a few minutes.
